Dorothy Mae Tucker, 86
Dorothy Mae Tucker was born December 7, 1930, in Hearne, Texas. Dorothy married Austin Tucker in 1952 and together they had three children, Roderick Tucker (deceased), Darwin Tucker and Yolanda Bland. She also had nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, as well as nephews and nieces who all enjoyed spending time with her. Dorothy’s young family lived in several states and abroad before they settled in Olympia, Washington in 1969. It was in that same year that Dorothy was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, a highlight in her life. Dorothy lived a full life. In her earlier years she worked secularly as a school teacher and later found her greatest fulfillment in her study of the bible and in sharing its truths with others. We will miss her laugh, great conversations, and strong determination.
