Dear Barb, We didn't hear of your death until a year and a half later. Needless to say I was shocked. You were such a beautiful person and I loved you very much. Always fun to communicate. with. I remember when I was 15 years old and my mom (Aunt Phyl), Gram and myself came home from touring Europe. We stayed with your mom and dad and family while in New Jersey. You were so kind to me always and you took me into New York City for the day. How fun that was! It was a highlight to visit Macy's back in 1968, shop, have lunch out and you took me to where your work office was. Oh yes, and we rode in one of the yellow cabs! Such a beautiful and fun day! Thank you so much. Most of all my beloved cousin, thank you for being yourself and always so thoughtful and kind to my mom. She loved you very much. She loved your entire family unconditionally. I am sorry you are gone and when I found out you had died my heart deeply grieved. I am so thankful God brought you into the Goodwin family and how Blessed I am to have been honored to know you. Love, your cousin, Kathie

I\'m saddened to hear of Barb\'s passing, and wish peace to those in grief. I worked with Barb off and on for the last about 12 years. At the beginning, she helped me work on several contentious and sensitive issues. She was knowledgeable, and guided this newbie along as I learned the ropes. Though we worked less together as the years passed, her smile and quiet, \"Hi, Angie!\" when we saw one another always brightened my day. She had a sparkle in her eyes. When I was in a meeting with her, I tried to sit close by. Besides her knowledge and experience, she shared optimism and encouragement for changes taking place. We all know change is difficult, and she made it a little easier. I\'ll miss you, Barb. Rest well, Friend.
