Barbara Bartlett Barbara Bartlett (Ochs) passed on March 1, 2014. Born on May 17, 1933, in Bamberg, Germany, Mrs. Bartlett was the daughter of the late Barbara and Sebastian Ochs, the fourth of five children, Ursula, Margarete, Otto (deceased) and Erich, all of Bamberg. Barbara (Betty) was member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she enjoyed serving the as a parish volunteer. She was a life-long artisan who readily created many items for infants and church events. Many admired her for her honesty, generosity, kindness and rock-solid faith. She leaves her five children: Margaret Bartlett and Ursula Bartlett of Woodbridge, FL; Frank Bartlett of Janesville, WI; Barbara Brock of Alachua, FL and Mary Ruthrauff of Chambersburg, PA. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Sebastian, Katherine, Nicholas, Carson, Christopher. Visitation will be held for family and friends at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Lacey, WA, on Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 1pm-4pm. The Catholic Funeral Mass is on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 9am at the Sacred Heart Church where church members will recite the Rosary in Barbara’s memory at 8:30am. Friends and family are invited to meet immediately following the funeral service to celebrate Barbara Bartlett’s life at a reception prepared the Sacred Heart Catholic Center located at the church. Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Funeral Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association
