Wilma C. Bullington a 28 year resident of Olympia, Washington passed away at Hartwood Extended Health Care in Tacoma, November 28, 2017. She was born May 20, 1928 in Los Angeles, California to Lillian G. Smith. She attended school in Coalinga, California and graduated from San Jose University with a degree in education. She taught second and third grade in Bakersfield, Monterey, and Berkeley, California and substituted in Bellingham, Washington.
She retired from the Washington State Library after 20 years as a preservationist and volunteered at the Olympia Public Library Friends of the Library. She is survived by her husband Darryl C. Bullington of Olympia. At her request no service is planned. Remembrances can be donated to The Capitol Land Trust.
