MAJ, US ARMY RETIRED
1938-2015
Bob passed away April 5, 2016, Lacey, WA. His final resting place is the Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA, with full Military Honors, April 14, 2016.
Bob was born in Denver, CO, June 4, 1938, to Georgetta and Robert Shoup Sr. both deceased. His two brothers, Gary Shoup and William Shoup also predeceased Robert. He is survived by his loving wife Judy of 30 years. He is also survived by his loving three daughters, Kristi Shoup, Suzanne and Jim Lord, Michelle Shoup, all residing in California, Carl Battin, step-son residing in Texas, and his sister, Sharon Woodford residing in Missouri. Also, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Bob was always a very dedicated and proud soldier. He started as a Private and retired as a Major, with two tours in Vietnam. Bob had a total of thirty-nine years of military service to his country when he retired.
