Patrick Michael “Mike” Damon of Richford N.Y. died peacefully in Lacey WA on 11 Aug 2018 at the age of 70.

Mike is survived by his four children Ken(Julienne), Margaret(Mark), Mark(Nanette) and Shawn, his ten grandchildren Ashley, Brandon, Krysteen, Brittany, Michael and Jenniffer(Michael), Steven, Rheanna, Eli and Hailey and 12 great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents Charles Kenwood “Red” Damon and Martha Jean Damon of Richford N.Y, his wives Carol Goodrich Damon and Sandra Gosline Damon.

Mike was born on May 17th 1948 in Cortland N.Y to Charles and Martha Damon.  After he graduated Newark Valley High School and married his high school sweet heart Doris Quick Damon they proceeded to make their mark on the world.  If you knew him you knew that his passion was to be around the dairy farm in one fashion or another.  He was born and raised on two dairy farms that were operated by his grandfather and father and this is where his passion for animals was born.  He loved being around animals regardless of where he was, or what it was.  He carried that passion throughout his professional life as a milk inspector.  He loved his cows!

A celebration of his life will be held on 3 November 2018 at 11am at the Richford Congressional Church in Richford N.Y.  All are welcome to attend and celebrate his life by telling stories and sharing moments you shared with him.
